The Roos will look to win their second-straight game against Missouri's flagship school
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball finishes its season-opening road trip with a game against cross-state rival Missouri tonight at 7 p.m. It will be the Roos' third-straight game against a Power Five opponent.

- Through two games, Kansas City is shooting at a .421 clip from the field, and .300 from beyond the three-point arc. Last season, the Roos shot .497 from the field, which was the ninth-best mark among Division One teams.
- Preseason Summit League First Teamer Josiah Allick leads the Roos in scoring, averaging 12.5 points per game. He also pulls down 4.0 rebounds and dishes 1.5 assists.
- Against Minnesota and Iowa, the Roos allowed 80.0 points per game. Look for that mark to drop throughout the season, as the Roos held opponents to a Summit League-best 62.6 points per game last season.
- Anderson Kopp was a bright spot for Kansas City's offense against Iowa on Friday. In just 21 minutes, he dropped 11 points on 3-of-4 three-point shooting, adding two rebounds and an assist.
- The Roos enter the game looking to avoid falling to 0-3 for the first time since the 2018-19 season, before the beginning of Coach Billy Donlon's tenure.
- Kansas City is looking for its first win against a Power Five opponent since the 2015-16 season, when the Roos defeated Mississippi State by a 72-67 count.

- The Tigers began their 2021-22 campaign with a win over Central Michigan, 78-68.
