Women's Soccer Brings Winning Streak to Durwood

The Roos will host South Dakota State on Friday at 7 p.m. and South Dakota on Sunday at 1 p.m.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Women's Soccer returns to Durwood Soccer Stadium with two Summit League victories under its belt. The Roos will look to increase their winning streak as they take on South Dakota State on Friday at 7 p.m. and South Dakota on Sunday at 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.

Kansas City Notes
- The Roos enter this weekend's contest with a 2-0 conference record after wins over UND and NDSU. It is the first time that KC has won its first two conference games since 2018, when the Roos won their first six WAC contests en route to a 7-1 conference record.
- Emma Wilson won Summit League Offensive Player of the Week for her performances in North Dakota, scoring the first two game-winning goals of her career. Her two game-winners this season ranks second in the Summit and 85th nationally.
- Mackenzie Caldwell posted the third and fourth clean sheets of her career last weekend, earning Summit League Defensive Player of the Week. Her mark of 6.38 saves per game ranks 23rd in Division One.
- Kassi Ginther assisted on Wilson's goal against NDSU, the first assist of her Kansas City career. Along with her four goals, she leads the Roos with nine total points.
- After allowing an average of 9.25 shots on goal through the first eight contests, KC has allowed just 4.75 SOG over the past four matches.
South Dakota State Notes
- The Jackrabbits have started the season hot, winning 11 of their first 12 games. Their lone loss came to Creighton, a team that also defeated the Roos.
- SDSU's Maya Hansen ranks 24th in the nation with three game-winning goals, and her average of 0.75 goals per game is 21st.
- The Jackrabbits love to share the ball, as seven players have multiple assists on the year. Avery Murdzek, Cecilia Limongi and Kayla Wisniewski all have four-or-more.
South Dakota Notes
- The Coyotes enter the weekend with a 6-2-2 record, including a win over St. Thomas and a loss to Western Illinois to begin Summit play.
- Emma Harkleroad is one of the top goalies in the nation, averaging 5.25 saves per game and a .933 save percentage, which ranks second in Division One.
- The Coyotes have shut out seven of their first 10 opponents on the season, allowing an average of just .471 goals per game.
