Roos Will Face CSUB, CBU and GCU in Homestand
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Volleyball prepares for their first three Western Athletic Conference opponents over a five-day stretch, hosting CSU Bakersfield tomorrow at 7 p.m., California Baptist on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Grand Canyon on Monday at 7 p.m.

Season Overview
- Kansas City emerged from the Jackrabbit Invite with a 2-1 record, after going 1-2 in its previous two tournaments.
- Ty Lukes, Mykal Sadler and Alex Ratzlaff were named to the All-Tournament team at the Jackrabbit Invite, joining Melanie Brecka and Alicia Harrington as Roos that have made All-Tournament teams this season.
- Lukes threw down a 30/7/52 attacking line last weekend for a .442 hitting percentage. That brought her season hitting percentage up to .366, good for second in the WAC.
- Kansas City averages the third most kills per set (12.34) in the WAC on the third highest hitting percentage (.229).
CSU Bakersfield
- After winning both matchups in four sets last year, Kansas City holds a 7-5 edge over the Roadrunners all-time.
- Melanie Brecka produced 20 kills in last year's Nov. 1 matchup, which still stands as a tie for her career high (Oct. 11, 2018 @ Chicago State)
California Baptist
- In the first meetings in program history, the Roos defeated the Lancers twice last year, the first a 3-0 sweep, the second a 3-1 victory.
- Kelsie Milkowski hit for six kills in the Sep. 29 victory, which was then her career high. She broke that record this past weekend with seven kills against Valpo.
Grand Canyon
- The Roos defeated Grand Canyon twice last year to move the all-time head-to-head record to 10-2 in favor of Kansas City.
- Ty Lukes posted a .632 hitting percentage in last year's Oct. 18 meeting, with a statline of 13/1/19.
