KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC men's tennis team will look to grab its second conference postseason title when the squad heads down to Brownsville, Texas, to face off with No. 6 seed Seattle U on Friday, Apr. 26th at 1 p.m. CT in the first round of Western Athletic Conference Tournament.
2019 Regular Season:
- 9-11 Overall Record
- 3-2 WAC Record
- Clinched the No. 3 seed in the WAC Tournament
- Ended the regular season on a three-match winning streak
- 4-3 at home this year
- 1-0 at neutral sites
Doubles Play:
- Ben Stride and Diego Giraldo combined for 15 wins at the No. 1 spot
- Both players notched a perfect record in WAC play during the season at the No. 1 spot (5-0)
- As a team, the Roos produced 31 points in doubles play
- Stride leads all Roos with 16 wins in doubles competition
- Giraldo sits in second with 15 wins
