Roos Head to Des Moines to Take on Drake

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC men's tennis (8-8) continues its 2018 season when it heads to Des Moines, Iowa, for its penultimate non-conference match of the season against Drake (12-12) at 6 p.m. CT on Apr. 7.

The Roos return to action this weekend when they head north to Des Moines, Iowa, to take on Drake on Saturday, Apr. 7 at 6 p.m. CT
The Roos enter the match winners of three straight after sweeping their three conference matches last weekend, including an upset of pre-conference favorite Grand Canyon.
For their efforts over the weekend, the Roos No. 1 doubles pair of Airam Castellano and Alex Pozo were named WAC Doubles Players of the Week and climbed to No 72 in the ITA rankings.
Drake enters the match with a 12-12 record on the season. The Bulldogs have picked up wins over Oral Roberts, Indiana, Arizona, Iowa, Omaha and others, while sitting in first place in The Summit League at 4-0.
