UMKC Heads South For Match With Shockers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC men's tennis returns to action this weekend when they head south to Wichita, Kan., for a 12 p.m. CT match with Wichita State on Feb. 18.

The Roos will take on the Shockers on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 12 p.m. CT at the Genesis Health Club in Wichita, Kan.
Last weekend, the Roos took down Creighton before falling to Nebraska. On the week, freshman Diego Giraldo finished 2-0 en route to WAC Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week.
The Shockers enter the weekend with a 1-4 record on the season, picking up their lone win over Buffalo and will face off with Middle Tennessee on Saturday before taking on the Roos.
