Grand Canyon Too Much For UMKC in WAC Match, 7-0

(Las Cruces, N.M.) - The UMKC women's tennis team ran into a tough opponent in Grand Canyon on Saturday morning, falling by a 7-0 score.
The Lopes (6-6, 2-0 WAC) took control early on in the match and never let up, taking the doubles point with wins at all three spots. In singles play in was much of the same, as they took straight set wins in five of the six matches, with Raquel Argenal battling in a three-set loss.
UMKC will close out the WAC Cluster on Sunday against Chicago State.
