The following is the fifth and final installment of “'Roos Introducing 'Roos,” a multi-part series introducing the UMKC softball newcomers as told by a returning member of the squad.
Rachel Pate introduces freshman Morgan Byrn
Morgan is the daughter of Michael and Amy Byrn. She is a graduate of Lawrence High School, located in Lawrence, Kansas. While in high school she was involved in Young Life, FCA, Student-Athlete Leadership Team, and Pre-Med Club. She also was involved in volleyball for one year. She played competitive softball for the Originals. Byrn is a versatile infielder and a strong bat for the Roos. A fun fact about Morgan Byrn is she loves cats. She has five of her own.
