Nick Hays joined the UMKC staff as the development graduate assistant in February of 2015. His responsibilities include Varsity Alumni (former student-athletes) liaison, Roo Club membership recruitment, and corporate sponsorship sales.
A UMKC graduate, Hays earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2011. While attending UMKC, Hays was a member of the men’s tennis team from 2008-2011 and also served as the teams SAAC representative for two seasons. After graduating, Hays worked with the US Tennis Association as the Youth Pathway Manager, overseeing the Missouri Valley region’s 10 & Under Tennis, Jr. Team Tennis and Tennis on Campus programs. Most recently, Hays served as an Associate Account Manager at Lockton Companies in Kansas City.
Hays was born in Kansas City and attended Blue Springs South High School in Blue Springs, Missouri. In his spare time, Hays participates in Golf, Tennis and also enjoys watching the Chiefs and Royals.
