Returning to her roots, Enna joins Kansas City's staff as an assistant volleyball coach for the 2025 season. Before becoming a Roo, Enna coached at Missouri Western State for two years following a storied career as a player at Iowa State.Â
"I chose to work at Kansas City because of its dedication to building a strong, competitive volleyball program and supporting student athletes' growth," Enna said. "I'm most excited about contributing to the program's strategic development and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence."Â
Enna will assist the Roos in many facets including but not limited to assisting with recruiting, in charge of opponent's scout, liaison to academic support, coordinating alumni relations, help in practice planning, overseeing defensive schemes and training primary passers and defensive specialists.Â
At Missouri Western State, Enna started out as a Graduate Assistant in 2021 before becoming a full time Assistant Coach from 2022-24. In those four seasons, Enna helped lead the Griffons to a 69-52 record in that span with two 20-plus win seasons coming in 23' and 24' respectively.Â
In 2024, Enna helped guide the Griffons to a 23 win season and Missouri Western State's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2017. Last season, the Giffons picked up ranked wins against #13 Regis, #24 Washburn and #11 Central Oklahoma. Â
Throughout her tenure at MWSU, Enna worked closely with the setters, defensive specialists and liberos. Enna also coached two-time All-MIAA libero Anna Weberg and oversaw a Griffons unit that ranked first in the NCAA in digs per set at the DII level.Â
Prior to entering the coaching world, Enna was a defensive specialist/libero herself at Iowa State. As a Cyclone, Enna racked up numerous awards including AVCA All-Midwest Region Honorable Mention, two-time Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week and Academic All-Big 12 First Team.Â
In 112 career matches played, Enna amassed 1,178 digs, 198 assists and 91 service aces as a Cyclone. Enna was a key piece of two NCAA Tournament teams in 2017 & 2019 as well as a National Invitational Championship winning Cyclones squad in 2018.Â
Enna is from Kansas City, Mo. and graduated from Staley High School in 2017. Enna was a four time all-conference performer as a four year letterwinner for volleyball. Enna also coached for the KC Power Volleyball Club for four years, giving her a wealth of experience to draw from as she joins the Roos staff.Â
