Background: Led the Skutt Catholic High School SkyHawks to back-to-back Nebraska Class B State Championships in 2015 and 2016 as the team captain and lone setter on the team … Finished her career at Skutt with a 60-game winning-streak and won 111 of her last 114 matches … Long list of career awards accompanies Schomers and her two state titles, including being a two-time Lincoln Journal Star Super-State First-Team honoree … Two-time Omaha World Herald All-State First-Team selection, where she was named Co-Captain of the All-State team in 2016 … Greater Omaha Sports Committee named Schomers the 2016 Top Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and she was a two-time MaxPreps Player of the Week.
