2021-22 (Grad Student): Came back as graduate student in the second semester, appearing in nine games while averaging six minutes … scored five points apiece in the final week of regular season against South Dakota and SDSU … Totaled 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal … Finished 4-for-4 from the free throw line
2020-21 (Senior): Made 16 starts in 22 appearances, including starts in each of the last 13 games ... Averaged 26.3 minutes per game ... Tied for the team lead with 15 total blocks on the year, tied for tenth in the Summit ... Ranked third on the team in rebounding at 4.9 per game, 19th in the Summit League ... Knocked down just over 1.0 three-pointers per game, good for 25th in the Summit ... Scored in double-digits in five games, all spanning from Jan. 15 through Feb. 13 ... Pulled down five-plus rebounds 12 times on the year ... Had one double-double ... Played 20 minutes against Northwest Missouri State on Nov. 30, scoring nine points, adding five rebounds and a season-high three blocks ... In series at Western Illinois on Jan. 15 and 16, averaged 10.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game ... 2019-20 (Junior): Played in all 31 games at Kansas City, starting in seven... Tied for third on the team in blocks (0.5), fourth in rebounding (4.9) and seventh in scoring (5.6)... Tied for 21st in the conference in overall rebounding... Her .809 free throw percentage was tops on the club as she made 38-of-47 from the charity stripe... If she would have qualified in conference statistical rankings (at least 2 made FT's per game), Mickens would have had the third-best FT percentage in the WAC... In Roo debut against Denver (11/5/19), recorded six rebounds, four points and two assists in 13 minutes in a starting role... Splashed in career-high 18 points, grabbing 10 rebounds for her first KC double-double against Loyola Chicago (11/22/19)... In the next game at George Mason (11/26/19), collected her second-straight double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds... Season-high 34 minutes played in KC upset win over Missouri (12/8/19), as she snared 10 rebounds... Posted four games of 10-plus points.
2018-19 (Hutchinson CC): Averaged 11.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 79.0% from the free-throw line last season... Closed her Blue Dragon career ranked eighth on the all-time rebounding list (517), sixth in career blocked shots (71), 11th in all-time free throws (171) and 16th on the career scoring list (854 points)... Was a two-year starter and floor leader where she helped the program accumulate a 60-11 record.. In that timeframe, she helped the Blue Dragons earn a bid to the NJCAA National Tournament the last two years, including a trip to the semifinals.. Became only the third Blue Dragon in team history to earn NJCAA All-America honors in both seasons.
2017-18 (Hutchinson CC): In 34 starts as a freshman, averaged 13.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks per game... Shot 50.2 percent from the floor and 73.1 percent from the charity stripe... Was also a threat from deep, hitting 31.6 percent (18-of-57) of her attempts from 3-point land.
High School: Coached in High School by Carter Kruger at Liberal High School… Ranked as the No. 50th JUCO player and the No. 17th forward according to the Dan Olson Collegiate Girls Basketball Report and a 3.5 Star recruit by Brandon Clay & the JumpOffPlus.
Personal: Daughter of Anitra West and has one sister, Jai Chapman… Plans to major in forensic psychology and criminal justice.
