Roo Item -- Was a teammate of freshman Taushelle Rushing in 2006 at Seward County... Head Coach Candace White-Whitaker also was an all-American for the Lady Saints in 2000.
2007-08 -- Played in every game for UMKC, averaging 29.5 minutes per contest with 25 starts on the year... recorded two 10-assist or better games - the first since the 2005-06 season for the Kangaroos - en route to a new Division I-era single-season assist record with 153... made the most of her first start on the season, recording one of two Kangaroo double-doubles against Saint Louis (11/29) with 14 points and 11 assists, adding six rebounds and three steals... nearly missed her second double-double against Missouri (12/15) with 15 points and eight rebounds, contributing four assists on the afternoon... fell one short of the single-game record for assists in a half against Centenary (1/26) with seven in the first half... handed out 12 assists against North Dakota State (2/18) tied for the top single-game effort by a player in The Summit League for the season... named to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League team and to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2006-07 -- Earned a regular spot in the rotation - including six consecutive starts to close out the regular season - after seeing limited action during the first half of the campaign... averaged 2.0 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest in her 23 appearances... dished out a game-high six assists at Oral Roberts, following the game up with a career-best nine points in 35 minutes at IUPUI... named to the Mid-Con Winter/Spring Academic all-Conference team and to the Mid-Continent Conference Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
At Seward County Community College-- Averaged 9.8 points, 3.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 59 games for the Lady Saints... Had 104 career three-pointers, ranking her fifth all-time in the school record books... As a sophomore, ranked 10th in NJCAA Region VI with 59 treys on the season, en route to an honorable mention Jayhawk West all-Conference selection... Helped SCCC to a 37-3 overall record, culminating in a fifth-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament... Led all players in the tournament, with 15 three-pointers.
High School -- Played at Lyons HS... Earned all-state honors as a senior to follow up an honorable mention all-state nod as a junior... Was also a first-team all-conference selection in both her junior and senior years.
