2010 -- Pitched in 11 games with two starts recording a 9.00 ERA... pitched 18.2 innings with five strikeouts... walked in only plate appearances of the season vs. Maine (2/19)... moved into ninth place all-time in innings pitched (185.0), sixth all-time in games pitched (67), eighth place all-time in strikeouts (117) and sixth place in strikeouts per seven innings (4.62)... UMKC Scholar Athlete... named a Distinguished Scholar and to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League team and to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2009 -- Led the UMKC pitching staff with a 2.37 ERA and went 4-2 on the season... recorded two saves... tallied 24 appearances including three starts... pitched 59 innings and allowed 32 runs off 71 hits, with 20 of those runs being earned... walked just 15 batters and struck out 47... held opponents to a .287 batting average... retired a career-high seven batters against South Dakota State (4/18)... finished the season with three hits and 16 assists...UMKC Scholar Athlete honoree... named to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League team and to the Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.
2008 -- Appeared in 34 games, with 32 appearances in the circle... posted a 4.24 ERA on the year en route to a 3-13 record, also posting three saves in league action, good for tops in The Summit League... hurled three complete games in 12 starts on the season, striking out 70 batters and allowing just 28 walks in 107.1 innings of work... offensively, she collected two RBI and two doubles on the year, as well as posting a stolen base and a sacrifice fly - vs. Indiana State, 3/10... named to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League team.
High School -- Two-time first team all-state selection... saw action as both an infielder and a pitcher for the Warriors... as a senior, she led WHS to a perfect 17-0 record and the South Dakota state championship... her squad also earned the Team Sportsmanship Award... two-year academic letterwinner... led her club team Dakota Fury to the 18U AFA “B” National Championship... she struck out 16 batters en route to a 3-1, nine-inning victory... high school coach was Dan Roskup.
Personal -- Born on April 21, 1989... daughter of Tony and Deb Upkes... was a member of the National Honor Society and a national qualifier for the Washington High School chapter of DECA... also a member of the Board of Directors for DECA... majoring in mechanical engineering.
