2011-- Started and appeared in 52 games… finished with a .250 batting average, a .250 slugging percentage and a .315 on-base percentage… scored 15 runs and drove in six… collected 29 hits, nine walks and 14 stolen bases… named a Distinguished Scholar on The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League Team and to the Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence… named an NFCA all-America Scholar Athlete… ranks fifth in UMKC career history in stolen bases (29) and ninth in sacrifices (20)… recorded five multi-hit games, including going 3-for-3 at both Austin Peay (2/19) and vs. Ball State (2/20)... went 2-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base against North Dakota State (3/13) and 2-for-2 with a run against South Dakota (3/27).
2010 -- Played in 12 games with 11 starts recording a .250 batting average... finished the 4-for-4 on the season in stolen bases with three RBIs and seven runs scored... notched two hits against Texas Tech (2/21)... scored two runs in games against Maine (2/20) and Texas Tech (2/21)... missed final 36 games of the season after injuring her ankle against Eastern Illinois... named a Distinguished Scholar and to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League team... also named to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2009 -- Started 48 of the 49 games played in the outfield... finished the season with a .271 batting average... scored 15 runs off of 36 hits, including two doubles... finished the year with eight stolen bases... recorded 45 putouts in the outfield and had three assists... recorded a career-high four hits against Centenary (3-24)... finished game one against Missouri State (4-8) with a career-high four putouts... UMKC Scholar Athlete honoree... named to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League team and to the Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.
2008 -- Appeared in 37 games, with 35 starts on the year... finished the season with a .128 batting average, offering up three sacrifice hits as well... collected six walks on the year... speedy outfielder also grabbed three stolen bases in four attempts... named to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League team.
High School -- Three-time first team all-conference selection (Fr., So., Sr.)... second team all-conference as a junior... first team all-district selection as a junior and senior... honorable mention all-Metro as a senior... four-year letterwinner in softball and two-year letterwinner in track and field... member of the Select Team that won the 18U NSA World Series in 2006... high school coach was Bob Dunahue.
Personal -- Born on May 16, 1989... daughter of Kevin and Lisa Whiteside... has a brother, Ryan, 26 and three sisters, Brittany, 23, Brooke 19 and
Taylor, 17... sister Brooke is a teammate on the UMKC softball team...majoring in nursing.
