High School -- Played for head coach Dave Gauvain at Vianney, leading the squad to a 17-6-2 overall record as a senior... He posted 14 shutouts and a 1.03 goals against average to earn first-team all-conference that season as well... He was also named the Defensive Player of the Year and the school's Athlete of the Month as a senior... A varsity starter as a senior (also started on freshmen and sophomore teams), he helped the team to conference titles in his freshman and junior campaigns, while taking second in the state as a junior... A member of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, he also played for St. Louis Scott Gallagher club and head coach Tim Leonard... He earned a spot on TopDrawerSoccer.com's Top 11 Academy Players of the Week Award on two occasions as well.
Personal -- Born May 10, 1994... Son of Dennis and Deborah Sparrow... Has six siblings, Zoey, Simon, Madison, Hayden, Savannah, and Bailey... His father played soccer at Southeast Missouri State, while his mother was in gymnastics there.
