Roos Shoot Lights Out, Eclipsed in Fourth by Lions

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Kansas City Women's Basketball (1-3) led for the first three quarters of action Monday night against Lindenwood (3-1) but ultimately fell just short, dropping a 80-71 result at Robert F. Hyland Arena. All told, it was the Roos most impressive offensive showing of the young 2025-26 season as Kansas City went 27-47 (57%) from the floor and 7-12 (58%) from three point range, making it just the fifth time under Coach Jackson-Durrett that the Roos have topped the 50% marker from the field and from three in a single game.
