Amal Gati and Alisa Reznik snatched points in singles play
In singles play, Gati delivered a victory in the No. 1 position matchup, winning 6-3, 6-1 over ORU's Miranda Noor. Likewise, Reznik earned a win in the No. 5 position, defeating Abby Wise of Oral Roberts in three sets. Reznik was able to win the first set 6-2 before dropping the second in a contested 6-4 result and then bouncing back for the 6-1 victory in the deciding set.Â
Kansas City hosts their first home match of the season against Denver at noon on Saturday at the Kansas City Racket Club.Â
