2009 -- Started and appeared in 51 games at the shortstop position... batted .312 on the year, scoring 21 runs off of 48 hits including six doubles and two triples... recorded 13 RBIs on the year... finished with eight stolen bases... had 64 putouts and led UMKC with 123 assists... hit a career-high three singles at IUPUI (4/24)... recorded three RBIs at IPFW (4/4)... scored two runs in the 9-7 win over Centenary (3/24)... recorded four putouts against Southern Utah (5/2) and had a career-high six assists against South Dakota (4/10) in the Dakota’s Round Robin Tournament... UMKC Scholar Athlete honoree... named to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League team.
High School -- A two-year letterwinner at Downers Grove South High School, where she helped the Mustangs to a fourth-place finish in Illinois’ Class 2A State Tournament in 2007... helped her squad to a 25-7 record in Class 4A in 2008, earning a first-place conference finish... posted a .448 batting average, collecting 10 RBI, four doubles and a triple as a senior... named first team all-conference and all-area as a senior, earning an academic all-state award as well... also played one year of volleyball (defensive specialist)... earned a spot on the 4.0 and above honor roll all four years of her high school career and was a member of the National Honor Society as a junior and senior... also served as a peer leader and a D.A.R.E. student leader.
Personal -- Born June 15, 1990... daughter of Scott and Renie Curry... brother, Ryan, is a second baseman in the Florida Marlins farm system... majoring in psychology.
