RALEIGH, N.C. - The No. 3 Kansas City Men's Soccer team hits the road Sunday evening to take on NC State, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. ET at Dail Soccer Field.
Kansas City (8-1-2, 2-0-0 SL) enters the matchup riding a four-game winning streak after defeating Tulsa 3-1 Wednesday night at Durwood Soccer Stadium. The Roos remain unbeaten in Summit League play and will look to carry their momentum into a matchup against last season's NCAA runner-up.
The Roos have continued to find success on both sides of the ball, earning victories over St. Thomas and Tulsa to open October. Kansas City defeated St. Thomas 1-0 on the road before returning home to take down the Golden Hurricanes. Against Tulsa, three different players scored to secure their eighth win of the season.
Kansas City has established itself as one of the nation's top offensive teams, ranking among the national leaders in assists and goal differential.Â
