Kansas City led wire-to-wire for its third Summit League win of the year
KANSAS CITY | Kansas City Men's Basketball (11-15, 3-8 Summit) relied on efficient shooting and staunch defense to take down North Dakota (9-17, 3-8 Summit) tonight, 80-69. The Roos were an even 50% from the field and 45.5% from three-point range, utilizing nine steals and eight blocks in the win.
KC jumped out to an early lead behind the scoring prowess of Jamar Brown and Cameron Faas and never looked back, leading wire-to-wire. The Fighting Hawks attempted a second half comeback but that was quickly thwarted by the same duo.
Brown went for 29 points on the night, knocking down 6-of-8 three-point attempts and going a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe. Faas was right behind with 22 points, a new career-high.
