
Notes: Kansas City Looks to Keep Offense Rolling Against UTEP Tuesday Night

- Last time out, Kansas City tied the program record for most points in a single game, putting up 121 points against the Larks last Thursday. History was made in the first half as the Roos set the program record for points in a half, notching 64 points vs. Hesston in the first half.Â
- Kansas City is shooting the ball at a 59.5% clip from the field and 64.3% from three point range in their last two games. The Roos notched 60%-plus marks from the field and from three against Hesston, making it just the third time the feat has been done in program history.Â
- Kansas City's newfound outside shooting stroke is spearheaded by Jamyah Winter. The Lincoln Memorial graduate transfer has recorded back-to-back games of six made three pointers, shooting 12-17 (71%) from deep in that span and hitting at a 51% clip from three point range this season.Â
- Elauni Bennett is off to an All-League caliber start to her junior campaign. The Lee's Summit, Mo. native not only averages 18 PPG and 8.2 RPG but also shoots 66.1% from the field, the best mark in the conference and ranking 10th on the national scale. Bennett posted a career-high 26 points against Lindenwood.Â
- Kansas City continues to create chaos for their opponents, notching 23.4 turnovers forced a night, 11.8 steals per contest and holding a 7.6 turnover margin, all conference best marks in the Summit this season.
- UTEP comes into Tuesday nights contest undefeated at 4-0 in the 2025-26 season. The Miners took down UT Martin 64-60 in overtime last Saturday to win their fourth in a row.Â
- It will be the Miners first road game this season as UTEP has started off with their first four games in El Paso, Texas and six of their first seven overall. UTEP was 3-10 on the road last season.
- UTEP is an elite rebounding team, averaging 52 rebounds per game which ranks second best in the nation, only trailing Oklahoma. The Miners also haul in 21.8 offensive rebounds a game, only trailing LSU nationally.Â
- The Miners are led by Mary Moses Amaniyo who averages 15 PPG and 15 RPG (leads NCAA) and holds three double-doubles this season. In addition to leading the nation in overall rebounding, Amaniyo leads the NCAA in offensive rebounding, grabbing 7.3 offensive boards per game.
