Kansas City Comes Up Just Short, 2-3, Despite Strong Performances

Houston, Texas - Kansas City put forth a valiant effort but ultimately fell to Howard in a closely contested 2-3 match (27-25, 15-25, 20-25, 25-20, 14-16). Kaia Dunford spearheaded the Roos' offense with 18 kills and a hitting percentage of .159. Sydney Henry provided solid support with 47 assists, highlighting her role as a key playmaker. Despite impressive defensive contributions, including 6 blocks from Ledisi Kpea, the Roos were unable to bridge the gap and succumbed to the Bison.

SET ONE / 27-25: The Roos jumped to a 3-1 lead, with Nyle Mathis serving as the catalyst for Kansas City. The Bison called a timeout to disrupt the Roos' momentum, but it proved ineffective as Ozyurek recorded back-to-back kills. However, it wasn't enough to edge out Howard, who ultimately took the match with a score of 16-14.
