Kaia Dunford stood out as a key player, leading the team with 16 kills and adding 17 digs, proving instrumental in both offense and defense. The Roos came out strong, taking the first two sets with a combination of powerful serves and timely kills. Despite dropping a close third set, Kansas City rebounded with a dominant performance in the fourth, sealing the win and demonstrating their ability to close out matches under pressure.
