The Roos came out strong, taking the first two sets with a combination of powerful serves and timely kills. SET ONE / 25-20: Eastern Washington jumped out to an early lead over Kansas City, 8-12, fueled by a 6-0 scoring run. Kansas City responded with Sila Ozyurek leading the charge, recording a kill followed by a series of blocks from Kailee Deffebaugh. Despite EWU calling a timeout to disrupt the Roos' momentum, Kansas City continued to press, adding two more points to take a 17-13 lead. The teams traded points late in the set, but the Roos maintained their momentum to secure the win.

SET TWO / 25-20: Kansas City asserted control early in the second set with a 5-0 run, taking a 5-1 lead. Although Eastern Washington attempted to regain the lead, kills by Kaia Dunford and Sydney Henry helped Kansas City extend their advantage to 22-14. The Swoops made a late push with a 6-0 run, but Leah Green closed out the set for the Roos with a decisive ace.

SET THREE / 23-25: The third set was a tightly contested affair, with Kansas City and Eastern Washington trading points throughout. Kansas City briefly took the lead at 18-16, thanks to key plays from Kaia Dunford and Sydney Henry. However, Eastern Washington responded with a kill and an ace, moving ahead 24-22. Despite a late service error that brought Kansas City within one, Eastern Washington secured the final point to take the set 25-23.

SET FOUR / 25-20: Kansas City dominated the early stages of the fourth set, jumping out to a 7-0 lead thanks to strong serving by Brooke Boyer, including two aces and multiple attack errors by Eastern Washington. The Roos maintained their momentum, with Kaia Dunford and Ledisi Kpea leading the charge with key kills to extend the lead to 18-12. Despite a late push by Eastern Washington, Kansas City held firm, with Dunford sealing the set with a kill to secure a 25-20 victory.
