
Muñoz-Baroja Named Academic All-Summit

Laura Munoz-Baroja has been named Academic All-Summit for the second-straight season
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Laura Munoz-Baroja was named to the Academic All-Summit League team today, as was announced by league officials. This marks the second-straight season that she has earned Academic All-League honors, making her one of just three repeat honorees this season.
After earning her degree in Electrical Engineering last year, Muñoz-Baroja began her master's program in Electrical and Computer Engineering this year. She holds a perfect 4.0 GPA while playing from the No. 3 singles spot for the Roos this season. She also played at the No. 1 doubles spot for most of the season, pairing with partner Amal Gati.
Muñoz-Baroja finishes her collegiate athletics career with a plethora of academic honors. Along with her two Academic All-League placements, she was the 2023 Summit League Scholar of the Championship, has twice been named ITA Scholar Athlete and was named to the CSC Academic All-District last year.
