The Roos went 1-2 in The Prairie State this week
PEORIA, Ill. -- Kansas City Women's Tennis (2-6) went 1-2 this week, defeating Bradley 4-3 on Sunday while also yielding a 4-3 result to Northern Illinois on Saturday and a 4-0 decision to Illinois on Monday morning.
The Roos were propelled to victory on Sunday morning versus the Braves thanks to a string of victories from the No. 3-6 positions in singles competition, three out of the four came in tight three set matches. Cathrine Chrobak, Luciana Braga, Maria Bylina and Alisa Reznik all picked up wins to grab a pivotal victory for the Roos.
Bylina and Reznik both won their matches in the No. 5 and 6 positions against Northern Illinois. Amal Gati also won her singles match despite the Roos coming a point shy of victory on the road.Â
