
Trio of Roos Announced to All-Summit League Teams

Mesa Falleur earned First Team honors, Lucas Dutartre is Second Team and Max Cooper is Honorable Mention
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - As Kansas City Golf prepares for the Summit League Championships in Sellersburg, Ind. next week, the Roos will take three All-League placements with them, as was announced by the league today. Mesa Falleur earned First Team All-Summit League honors, Lucas Dutartre took a spot on the Second Team and Max Cooper was named Honorable Mention All-League.
Mesa Falleur - First Team All-League
Falleur finished the regular season with the second-best per round average in the Summit League with 71.7 strokes per round, going for a pair of top-10 finishes on the season. He has led the Roos' scoring efforts in five of KC's nine tournaments this season, firing off a total of 11 rounds at-or-under par. His best tournaments came at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, tying for ninth with a 7-under score, also finishing tied for sixth at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate at 4-under.
Lucas Dutartre - Second Team All-League
Dutartre followed up his Honorable Mention All-League honors last season with a jump to the second team this year and has finished the regular season on a strong note, leading the team's scoring in each of the final four tournaments. He holds the fourth-best per round scoring average in the league this year, averaging 71.8, going for three top-10 and one top-five finish. After a tie for ninth at the Wildcat Fall Invitational, shooting 2-under, he has finished tied for sixth at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate and tied for third at the Hawkeye Invitational this spring.
Max Cooper - Honorable Mention All-League
Cooper has displayed why he was a two-time NJCAA All-American in his first year as a Roo, posting the 19th-best scoring average in the league at 73.4 strokes per round. He logged 10 rounds at-or-under par, finishing tied for 11th at the Wildcat Fall Invitational at 1-under and finishing tied for 22nd at the GCU Invitational with the same score.Â
Kansas City looks to repeat as Summit League Champions next week, teeing off the first of three rounds at Covered Bridge Golf Course on Sunday. The Roos take the No. 3 seed into the Championships and will be paired with Oral Roberts and North Dakota State to begin the week.
