Currently positioned 7th in the Summit standings, the Roos are making a determined push toward securing a coveted postseason berth as the regular season intensifies.
- Fresh off a road victory over the Summit League's 6th-ranked Denver, the Roos showcased their defensive skills with 14 blocks and a dominating service game featuring 13 aces, including an exceptional 5-ace performance from Motta.
- The Summit League's standout player of the night was Kaia Dunford, who continued her stellar season, notching 21 kills at a hitting average of .409 and 8 digs.
- Setter Sydney Henry orchestrated a masterful offensive display, dishing out 46 assists and helping the team maintain a strong .250 hitting percentage.
St.Thomas Notes:
- Kansas City and St. Thomas face off for the second time this season on November 9. The Roos hold a 6-1 all-time record against the Tommies, with St. Thomas earning their first win in the series on October 5 with a 3-0 sweep in St. Paul, MN.
- St. Thomas is coming off a historic five-set victory against South Dakota State, snapping the Jackrabbits' 354-day winning streak. The Tommies tallied 60 kills and 11 blocks in the match, demonstrating their balanced attack and strong net presence.
- Lauren Galvin continues to lead the Tommies' offense, sitting just 31 kills away from reaching 1,000 career kills. She's been a consistent force for St. Thomas, with double-digit kills in 15 matches this season.
