Kansas City enters the top 25 after a win over nationally-ranked Denver on Saturday
LONG BEACH - Following Saturday's victory over nationally-ranked Denver, Kansas City Men's Soccer has made its debut in the Top Drawer Soccer Top 25, as was released this morning. The Roos made their entrance as the 22nd-ranked team in the nation and are one of two Summit League teams in the rankings.
Kansas City finds itself on a six-match unbeaten streak, tied for the program's longest streak since 2003. That includes a 2-0-1 start to Summit League play and a 1-0 win over preseason favorite Denver, who was then ranked No. 3 in the United Soccer Coaches poll and No. 1 in the Top Drawer Soccer poll.
The Roos play a pair of Summit League matches this week, first playing at Oral Roberts on Wednesday before hosting St. Thomas at Durwood Soccer Stadium on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the rest of the Roos' home games are on sale and can be purchased here.
