Doubles battled for a big point before Joanna Cardona clinched in singles
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - In the team's latest-starting match since March of last year, Kansas City Tennis emerged with a big victory over Missouri State, 4-2. The win gives KC a two-match winning streak on the season and is the second-straight win over the Bears, with the first coming on Feb. 19 of last season.
The Roos found their stride right away, clinching their first doubles point of the season with wins by the No. 1 and 3 teams. Singles went back and forth, with Michela Xibilia, Joana Cardona and Kate Miley picking up the decisive points.
