KEY MOMENTS
- 13' / 0-0 | On a set piece from 30 yards out, Omaha attempted a shot on goal, but Robin Balters was there to calmly scoop up the shot. On the ensuing counter attack, Christian Koffi made a move around two Omaha defenders and let a shot fly from the left side of the goal, but it was deflected by the Maverick keeper.
- 22' / 0-0 | Julien Le Bourdoulous played a ball across the midfield at the top of the box, finding a streaking Brevyn Cole. Cole took a one-time shot with his left foot, forcing UNO's keeper into a diving save.
- 24' / 0-0 | Omaha's most dangerous opportunity of the night came as a Maverick forward snuck behind the Kansas City back line, meeting a through pass and forcing Balters into a one-on-one situation. Balters stuck his left leg out just in time to deflect the shot and keep the game scoreless.
- 57' / 0-0 | Early in the second half, Le Bourdoulous made a move to the left corner of the box, ripping a shot from long range and sending it just over the crossbar.
- 58' / 0-0 | Another chance came just moments later as Samuel Nagy settled a ball in front of goal and ripped a shot, but it was off target.
- 74' / 0-0 | Omaha looked to strike, sending a cross in front of the net, but Guille Munoz Villarejo slid in with precision timing to clear the ball away from goal.
STATS TO NOTE
- Of Kansas City's five draws this season, this is the second that came in scoreless fashion. The first came against Bradley on Aug. 27.
- Balters posted his second-straight clean sheet, the first time a Kansas City keeper has played 180-straight scoreless minutes in the net since Cooper Clark on Sep. 28 and Oct. 1 of last season.
- The Roos' first meeting with Omaha on Sep. 23 resulted in a 1-1 draw. This is the first time Kansas City has drawn with the same team twice in one season since doing so against Denver in 2021.
- Kansas City's six shot attempts in the game are a season-low in Summit League play and the fewest attempts since firing off just three shots against Missouri State on Aug. 31.
