The Roos battled to draw even in the game's final minutes for a much-needed conference point
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - After being beat for the first 60 minutes, a flip switched in the final 30 and Kansas City Men's Soccer battled back for a 1-1 draw against Omaha this evening. It wasn't until the 89th minute that Kazuki Kimura scored the equalizer, his fifth goal of the year.
KEY MOMENTS

- 30' / 0-0 | The Mavericks had a corner kick, sending it to the near post for a header. Clark made a reaction play, throwing his hands towards the ball and keeping it out of goal.
- 43' / 0-0 | Shfeo Lar found Yahel Anderson-Gonzalez for a shot at the top of the box, blocked by the Omaha back line. It sparked a speedy Maverick counterattack, but Clark made his fourth save of the day.
- 55' / 0-1 | Omaha took the lead early in the second half on a play into the box that bounced around before sneaking into the back of the net.
- 56' / 0-1 | The Mavs wanted to add to their lead directly after the first goal, but Clark was there for a save.
- 72' / 0-1 | Kansas City had a chance in the second half on a set piece, as Kotaro Hirokawa sent the ball into the box to the head of Seth Kacich, but his attempt was high of the mark.
- 89' / 1-1 | The equalizing goal came with time running down, as Hirokawa played a ball off of Asier Olano that ended with Kimura. Kimura took a touch towards the middle of the field and launched a shot that split two defenders, finding the side netting and earning a point for the Roos.
