Lamar finished with a double-double and reached 1,000 career points
OMAHA, Neb. – Kansas City Men's Basketball (12-10, 5-4) fell to Omaha (4-18, 3-8) in buzzer-beater fashion this evening, 68-69. Arkel Lamar finished with a double-double while hitting his 1,000th career point at the 13:36 mark in the first half. Evan Gilyard II and Marvin Nesbitt Jr. also finished in double-digit scoring for the Roos.

- Gilyard was the Roos' leading scorer with 17 points, shooting 45.5% from the field and ending a perfect 5-5 from the charity stripe.
- After hitting his 1,000th career point in the first half, Lamar finished with a double-double, his first in a Kansas City jersey. He finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and three steals.
