- Brecka finished with 11 digs to go along with her 13 kills, her third double-double of the season.
COACH CHRISTI POSEY, QUOTED
- "We're pleased with the effort and execution to finish the tournament with a victory. The goal was to put ourselves in a position to win a championship and we achieved that. There is still work to be done, and we realize that the pre-conference season allows us to learn important lessons and continue to grow. We like where we are at this stage and we all feel good about the weekend."
- "We had a nice balance to our offense and defensively we were pretty good, but our team was terrific from a serving standpoint. It allowed us to put pressure on them consistently."
UP NEXT
The Roos will be back in Missouri next weekend, traveling to Cape Girardeau for an Invitational at Southeast Missouri State. Kansas City will take on Arkansas State, Marshall and Memphis in the invite.
