Arnold, Kacich Earn TicketSmarter Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Athletics has announced De'Janae Arnold of volleyball and Seth Kacich of men's soccer as the TicketSmarter Roo Players of the Week for the week of Sept. 20.

Arnold continued her hot streak this past weekend as Kansas City traveled to Lawrence for the Jayhawk Classic, throwing down 2.31 kills per set on .429 hitting. She was also pivotal in the Roos' defense, assisting on 12 blocks and notching one solo block. In the KC's win over Albany on Saturday, Arnold went for 14 kills and zero errors on .700 hitting, the highest hitting percentage of her Kansas City career. The Roos begin Summit League play this weekend, traveling to North Dakota and North Dakota State.
Seth Kacich
Kacich has been a rock in the Roos' defensive line this season and was called in to action on the offensive side of the ball as well in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Dayton. He put Kansas City ahead in the 65th minute, taking a corner kick from Kotaro Hirokawa and scoring his second-career goal. Kacich has played full time in each of KC's past five games, including a full 110-minute effort against the Flyers. Men's Soccer opens Summit League play on the road this weekend, traveling to Oral Roberts for a 7 p.m. showdown on Saturday.
