Cooper Clark made six saves on the game, but the Roos could not find the back of the net

HARRISONBURG, Va. - Kansas City men's soccer battled for 90 minutes against the 21st-ranked team in the nation, James Madison, but fell short in a 2-0 decision. Cooper Clark made six saves on the day, but the Roos' offense was never able to get past the Dukes' keeper.

KEY MOMENTS

10' | Edson Murguia was the first on either side to take a shot opportunity, sending it wide left and out of bounds.
13' | The Dukes jumped out to a 1-0 lead after putting away a second chance opportunity.

Despite the loss, Kansas City possessed the ball at a greater rate than JMU, finishing with a 52% possession total.
Including his goal against Virginia Tech on Thursday, Murguia is the only Roo to have attempted a shot in both games this season.
Kyle Reese's shot attempt in the 86th minute was the first of his Kansas City career.

"We started the game well and were much more solid defensively. We didn't drop quick enough on their goals and they punished us. JMU is a very good team and I believe our guys asked some questions of them. This weekend was a great environment for us and I believe we came away a better team."
