WBB Hosts Omaha for Weekend Series

The Roos take on the Mavs on Friday and Saturday at 2 p.m.
Five Things to Know
- After a weekend off, Kansas City (7-8) hosts Omaha this weekend at the Swinney Center.
- RaVon Nero earned her first start of the year in the Jan. 30 game against NDSU. Over that weekend, she averaged 16.5 points per game, including a 28-point performance on Saturday.
- The Roos sit at fifth in The Summit League standings with a 4-5 conference record. The Roos have split each of their last three series, winning the first game in each case.
- Jada Mickens collected her third-career double-double on Jan. 29 against NDSU with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Mickens has started in each of the past six games, averaging 10.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game over that stretch.
- Paige Bradford had a season-high six steals for the Roos on Friday. That is the highest steal count for a Roo so far this season. Overall, KC averages 7.7 steals per game, good for second in the Summit League. Bradford ranks sixth individually, averaging 1.4 steals per contest.
