COACH JACIE HOYT, QUOTED
- "It was a great tune-up. There were a lot of things that we didn't feel like we were as good as we need to be, but that's exactly why you play these games. The most important thing tonight was playing in front of fans again. We didn't have that all last year."
- "We have a lot of size, but they're athletic and they can run the floor. I'm not surprised (by the rebounding numbers), that's a big emphasis that we have every day. That's just who we need to be."
- "(Shooting the three) is just our identity, it has been ever since we've been here. We continue to carry that on, and all of our players believe that they can shoot the ball. That's just who we want to be."
- "We've got to take care of the ball. Too many turnovers, but I think a lot of that just had to do with excitement and nerves."
