COACH CHRISTI POSEY, QUOTED
- "I felt like we were eager and ready at the start of the match, but we didn't ball handle as well as we're capable of, so we had to rely on serving and defense to get the first set."
- "We got in a good rhythm in the seconds set, siding out at 71%. Alli directed good transition offense from our core of defenders, led by Maddie with 21 digs."
- "Any win is appreciated, especially on the road, but we still have room to grow and the strength of the league means we have more work to do."
UP NEXT
The Roos will head south from Minnesota and travel to Omaha, Neb. for a meeting with the conference-leading Mavericks on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
