KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first-time in Kansas City Athletics history, fans can purchase tickets and stay connected with all of your favorite Kansas City Athletic teams on your mobile devices with the new KC Roos app. Kansas City Athletics is launching the new app to enhance the game-day experience of Roo fans and increase awareness of Kansas City's College Team!
By searching for "Kansas City Athletics," the free app is available for download from the App Store or Google Play.
Roo fans will enjoy a customized mobile-centric experience, with the option to purchase mobile tickets, enter venues using only their phones, manage their accounts directly from their mobile devices and seamlessly transfer or exchange tickets for events they cannot attend. Ticketing will be seamlessly integrated into the KCRoos Athletics website, which is powered by SIDEARM Sports.
"We are incredibly excited to unveil our new Kansas City Athletics App, to help keep our fans engaged and up to date with all of our teams," said Dr. Brandon Martin, Director of Athletics. The new mobile app will become a one-stop shop for fans and students alike, bringing schedules, tickets, live scores and stats, news alerts, student-athlete and coach profiles, merchandise, and promotional content directly to fans' devices. Additionally, the app will feature links to all social media feeds and the ability to watch live games via the Roo Sports Network platform.
