
UMKC Drops One At Mizzou

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC softball team (25-25) dropped an 8-0 contest on Wednesday night to instate rival Missouri (30-21) at Mizzou Stadium in Columbia, Mo.
Chyanne Onstad and Alexis D'Ambrosio each notched a hit for the Roos in the contest, while Sydney Garcia and Bre Hunter each drew a walk. Garcia, meanwhile, picked up a steal for UMKC.
On the mound, Kailyn Packard tossed three innings, allowing no earned runs with a strike out.
In the game, the Tigers notched three runs in the first inning and four in the fourth, while adding their final run in the sixth to pick up the victory.
The Blue & Gold will be back in action again this weekend when they wrap-up the regular season with a three-game WAC series against Grand Canyon at the Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City on May 3-4.
