UMKC Aims for Back-to-Back WAC Titles

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No. 2 seed UMKC women's tennis (13-9) will go for its second straight WAC Tournament title and NCAA appearance when it heads to Mesa, Ariz., on Apr. 28-29 for the 2018 WAC Women's Tennis Tournament at the Mesa Tennis Center.
The Roos open the event on Saturday, after receiving a bye, against the winner of No. 3 NM State and No. 6 Seattle U at 11 a.m. CT. Sunday's championship match, meanwhile, will take place at 11 a.m. CT with No. 1 UT Rio Grande Valley, No. 4 Grand Canyon and No. 5 Chicago State waiting on the opposite side of the bracket.
