What is your favorite moment at UMKC?
I am between two moments! The first one was my trip to Hawaii with the tennis team where we stayed there for almost a week and we had the opportunity to visit a lot of cool places and also play tennis. It was one of the best trips of my life.
The other moment was a few weeks ago when we won the regular season!! That was a great experience for me also because I finished conference play undefeated.
Favorite campus spot?
I really like the top floor of the student union. You have a great view of Kansas City!
Who is your favorite UMKC professor?
My favorite professor is Bob Boeckel. I'm taking Marketing this semester with him and he is by far the best teacher I've had here at UMKC. He is making me like marketing and I hope I can take more classes with him in the future.
What is your favorite class?
My favorite class is Marketing so far. As I said I'm taking it right now and I like the professor and the class is really interesting.
What is your major?
I'm a business major with an emphasis on entrepreneurship
What are your post-college plans?
I'm not sure yet but I will probably ke7ep playing tennis. I want to play future tournaments which are professional tournaments maybe here in the US or back home (Spain).
Other option is to start a master or maybe move back home too. I still don't know but the option that I like the most is the first one because I don't want to stop playing high level tennis.
Future profession?
I love the business area. I would like to do something with tennis too, but I think I still have time to think what I really want to do.
If you could have lunch with one celebrity, who would it be?
Roger Federer, he is my favourite tennis player and I would say he is one of the most talented athletes in the world.
Who is your best friend on another UMKC team?
Felipe Cepeda from the soccer team. He also speaks Spanish and we have a great friendship!
What is your favorite sport to play, other than tennis?
I love soccer!! I'm from Spain and back home soccer is a big thing so I follow soccer a lot and I love to play it in my free time
Who is your favorite musician?
I don't have a favorite musician, but I really like reggaeton music.
What is your favorite movie?
I don't have a favorite movie, but I really like comedy and action movies.
Would you rather visit all seven continents or go to the moon and why?
I would prefer to visit all seven continents!! I love travelling and learning from new cultures so definitely I would love to visit all continents.
