Roos Tied for Third, Diaz Tied for Lead at Little Rock Classic

HOT VILLAGE SPRINGS, Ark. – UMKC women's golf is tied for third place, only four shots back from the lead following the second round of the Little Rock Golf Classic at Diamante Country Club on Monday. The Roos shot 301 (+13) in the second round. Cynthia Diaz (Bucaramanga, Colombia) is tied for the individual lead at 2-under par after shooting her second consecutive 71 (-1).
Mackenzie Black (Independence, Iowa) moved into a tie for ninth individually with a 73 (+1). Cyrielle Kern (Cuvry, France) carded a 78 (+6) and Maria Henao (Pereira, Colombia) shot 79 (+7). Chandler Gallagher (Kansas City, Mo.) recorded an 82 (+10).
Central Arkansas and UTEP are tied for the lead at 17-over par. Diaz is tied with June Ting from UTEP for the individual lead.
Tuesday's final round begins with an 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun start.
