Kansas City Athletics has achieved remarkable academic success during the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 133 student-athletes being named to the Summit League Academic Honor Roll & Commissioner's of Excellence List . This a significant increase of thirty-six student-athletes compared to the previous year's mark of 97, highlighting the department's dedication to academic excellence.

Roo Senior Spotlight: J’aime Bellingham and McCain Schellhardt
J'aime Bellingham is a senior women's golfer at Kansas City. She claimed the lowest round of any Roo this past year with an even-par 72 at the Little Rock Golf Classic in late October. Additionally, she had the second-lowest stroke average (77.1) on the team through 18 rounds this season.
