Team Sports Medicine physician
Dr. Billy Irons attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine and did his residency at Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals. He is on the American Board of Family Medicine as well. He is now at Truman, and came there after 22 years in private practice in rural Oklahoma. During that time he assisted with high school sports. While at Truman he has spent five years in a Family Practice Orthopedic clinic and the last five years he has been involved in the UMKC Sports Medicine Fellowship.
