2018-19 season: Served on the coaching staff at Kearney (Mo.) High School helping the girl's program to a Class 3 third-place finish in state competition.
2014-17 (Missouri): Played in 64 games as a Mizzou Tiger, starting in 43 of those in her four-year career.... The 5-11 forward scored 22 points (8 goals, 6 assists) on 71 total shots.... Had three-game winning goals... Earned SEC player of the week honors and a spot on the All-SEC Academic honor roll each of her four years at Mizzou... Played over 3200 minutes in her career.
Personal: Earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science at Mizzou in 2018... Plans to earn her Master’s in Higher Education at UMKC ... Was invited into Kansas City NWSL Team's preseason camp prior to the 2021 season

Coach Smith on Hess invited to NWSL Preseason Camp: “We are lucky to have a coach on our staff with Allie’s playing caliber & collegiate experience. We are so thrilled for Allie and her invite into preseason camp with our Kansas City NWSL team. Allie’s commitment to her own development, high discipline and drive will help her succeed as a professional player and serve as a tremendous example to our current team and recruits. We are working to build a culture of development that leads players to professional opportunities post-college and Allie is helping pave the way for our program.”
