High School: Mullens helped Liberal High School to a 22-1 record in her junior season while averaging 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. The 6'0 forward was named First-Team All-Conference, Junior Female-Athlete of the Year and Second Team All-State. She led her team to a conference championship, regional championship and Kansas 5A state birth while setting a record for the most consecutive-wins in a season in school history. In her high school career, Mullens has won a conference title two of the last three years and earned First-Team All-Conference twice while standing out in the classroom as a Kansas Scholar-Athlete. She was a multi-sport athlete in high school, also competing in volleyball and track for Liberal.
Personal: Coached in High School by Carter Kruger at Liberal High School… Played AAU for Ohlde Elite coached by Nicole Ohlde-Johnson and Drew Johnson… Daughter of Mal Mullens and Timiko Ponder, has one brother Malachi and one sister Maliyah … Plans to major in business and law and become a corporate attorney.
