High School -- Led her team to a 32-3 record and the Texas Class 3A State Championship, under head coach Joe Lombard as a senior...earned MVP honors in the title game...the state title was third championship appearance in her four-year career, as the team were the state champs in 2005 and 2007... averaged 11 points and five rebounds per game... earned a spot on the 2008 Class 3A Golden Spread team...recognized as the Region I tournament MVP and recognized by both the Texas Girls Coaches Association and the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches as a first team Class 3A all-state member... a member of the National Honor Society of High School Scholars, student council, choir, art club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
Personal -- Born on Oct. 7, 1989, in Amarillo, Texas... daughter of Teresa Tinner... mother was a collegiate standout for West Texas A&M, scoring over 1,596 points for head coach Bob Schneider... played AAU ball for the West Texas Starlets and head coach Tasha Simms for four years... in 2006, team took third place at the AAU Nationals in Dallas, Texas...will major in business at UMKC.
