Ruben Reyna is entering his fifth season with UMKC, and was hired as the Director of Basketball Operations in the summer of 2012, after serving as a graduate assistant coach the previous two years.
He was named to the GA post in July 2010. Reyna previously served as a manager with the 'Roos for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons.
Reyna served as the video coordinator, as he cut and edited game file, while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the program.
Reyna came to Kansas City after serving as an assistant varsity boy's basketball coach at Delton Kellogg High School in Delton, Mich., from 2003-07. He also spent the 2007-08 season as the head assistant at Goshen College in Indiana.
Reyna graduated from UMKC in 2010 with a degree in liberal arts. He earned his master's degree in higher education administration with an emphasis in sports administration from UMKC in May of 2012.
